The Lie Girls Sex Call Girl Ad

Liegirls
The Lie Girls (QuickTime)

Video on the web just keeps getting more interesting. The 'Lie Girls' have created a very funny mock sex call girl advertisement that is spot on in its psychoanalysis of the NeoCons in our government today.

I could write a dissertation on the subject, but the Lie Girls have done it for me in about a 60 seconds. From War and Peace as Lesbian lovers....to the implied money shot of the phrase 'Mission Accomplished,' they've successfully ripped open Bush's favorite (if now almost meaningless) phrases and exposed the buried sexual power fantasies within.

If the video doesn't satisfy you then check out their phone line, it works: 1-212-875-7000

"These girls pose a grave and gathering threat...." :-)

Bush vs Bush on the Daily Show

Bush vs Bush small at 13MB

Bush vs Bush large at 160mb

From the Daily Show: April 28th, 2003

Having just lost another debate to Kerry, I thought it would be great to show George W. Bush debating himself. Probably among the most serious parodies the Daily Show ever did was this one pitting George W. Bush the President, against himself as Governor of Texas. Thanks to Lisa Rein of OnLisaReinsRadar.com

You can really get a look at how the president, err...flip-flopped.

Just saw Kerry win another debate....Bush looked weaker than ever. Problem is it's getting so repetitive...they mostly used tonight to repeat their stump speeches and that's a waste. Still it was nice to see Bush caving completely on Healthcare, Iraq, our porous boarders, Roe vs. Wade and on and on....He's seems so annoyed to have to be there answering to the people of the US, instead of those adoring manicured crowds who have to sign loyalty oaths.

Trump-Fires-Bush Mock TV ad

Trump Fires Bush

I found this on the Project for Old American Century (see below on Cheney) Hope you will all make more like this. It's from ShowGeorgetheDoor.org.

It looks now, like we are going to have our work cut out for us, when Sinclair Broadcasting Group gets set to release what looks like classic propaganda against Kerry and get away with calling it 'News.' See this article in the NY Times: TV Group to Show Anti-Kerry Film on 62 Stations. This is the group well known to be a close ally of the White House's with regard to the President's decision to deregulate the FCC. (in case the link goes down, here's a pdf.

From The Daily KOS, check out this on Sinclair pulling the Nightline episode which offended them. Ironically, it appears, that when media monopolies become this unregulated, rather than becoming more independent and critical of the institutions of government, they wind up supporting those positions and politicians which create the conditions of possibility for their de-regulation. But this should be no surprise. Have a look at the article by Theodor Adorno in the 40's titled The Culture Industry....it's all laid out there.

The gopconstrum video medley

Gopconstrm_copy
Gopconstrum.mov

This is sourced from http://home.earthlink.net/~houval/gopconstrm.mov and no one seems to know who the author is, but I thought I'd mirror it in the interests of making sure it doesn't disappear. It's a nice DailyShow style compression of the GOP's convention which displays how they succumbed to their most primeval urges, sowing fear amongst the voters while throwing bloody red meat to their minions. Thanks Houval.
